Art Expo Malaysia is back! #artexpo #art
|I like the cheery colours here|
I just realized I've not blogged for quite some time being busy with recruiting recruiters for my recruitment business (got your tongue twisted there? LOL) and planning a few upcoming events plus attending the Young Corporate Entrepreneur event and BFM Breakaway event this week.
I'm a little more free this weekend and thought I'd better get out of my shell and visit the Art Expo (it's 9th edition) again this year. I don't think I can visit Kakiseni though, which is sad.
You would probably know that the haze is also back in the Klang Valley but I braved the bad air and drove myself to Matrade after a hearty breakfast of two Roti Canai and one teh tarik with my hubby.

It wasn't crowded which I like so I had the time to admire the pieces, pretend I know everything about art and scoff at some of the pieces that looked just like smeared paint.
Some 2,000 works by approximately 400 artists are represented by 70 participating art galleries / groups from 30 countries at the show.
Most of the biggest names in Malaysian art are represented by reputable local galleries, which form the largest exhibitor group. Neighbouring country Singapore forms the second largest bandwagon, with participation from as many as 13 galleries.
